Yo, not updated for a wee while.
It was my birthday last week.
and I played a few gigs and Ive got another on Friday with my new band Pinata *cheap plug* www.myspace.com/pinataonline ;-)
Birthday night out was fucking hilarious.....a few of the highlights include

I went to bed last night with a shoulder that was in agony and a twinge of pain in my right ankle....I wake up today and the twinge is now a full on bruise and swelling, i cant straighten my right leg , cant lift my right arm above a certain point and i have a sore throat.....Im getting too old for this shit! |

Right, I feel like I need to vent, there are a lot of things that are just doing my head in right now!!!

emmm so yeah, ive actually been ok, things have been great.

Played my first gig with my new band, it went very well, made a couple of mistakes but thats to be expected. We were playing in a total rangers pub it was funny as hell, blue carpets, rangers tartan wallpaper, ridiculous!!! so to avoid being stabbed we decided that i should wear my rangers top onstage to get the crowd on our side straight away, it seemed to work!
Had a great night out last weekedn with Loz, Kenny and Craig. Loz and Kenny were fuckin steamin it was brilliant, had a good laugh at them and caught up with a few people ive not seen in a long time!
no taxi mats were stolen!
This month i have been mostly watching South Park, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Vic Reeves Big Night Out, which is sheer bloody insanity at its best!

genius, not to mention les and his spirit levels!!!
watched the breakfast club twice today, kinda by mistake, but hey, if it works it works!
Got right back into the Mull Historical Society the other day, I was working for my dad cos hes on holiday for the football and his new shops kind of part of a post office so i cant play any heavy music, they even complained about the stone roses, so on the tuesday i tokk in the three Mull albums and played them, we woulda sold a couple of copies an all, but my dad didnt have them in, silly sod!! but anyway, i was listening to them and it reminded me how good they are, they really should be bigger, much bigger, they do quirky acoustic indie pop (did i just create a new genre) better than ANYONE!!!

Im trying to think of a name for it. Right now Im using the name "The Hub" but im open to ideas.

Realllly bored at the moment, I was right into smallville last week but i just cant motivate myself for series 4. I have loaned my arrested development dvds to people as well, I miss it already, I almost downloaded an episode a minute ago.
I went down old irvine town today and almost bought myself a camera to replace the one that got stolen last year but i bottled it at the last minute even though its only gonna cost 300 quid and its a damn good camera. I just kept on seeing pictures online and it really made me want to be able to do it again, i got a hnd in it for fuck sake i really should be pursuing it more rather than moping about the flat all day.
speaking of the flat we moved kennys marshall amp into the jam room, i think we can legitimately drown out the music in the crown now hehe

Well, Im bored so its time for a big update I reckon...oh yes.
I dont know whats been up with me recently, I think its cos I came straight off night shift when i was paid off, but Ive been unable to get to sleep anytime before 6am, I usually end up lying in bed for hours tossing and turning. Monday night tho i didnt sleep and last night i was able to sleep between 11 and 4 but then i was awake again unable to do anything...I was up at 6am sorting my fuckin washing out for christ sakes.
Downloaded Championship Manager 5 to see what its like, its absolute pish, it just seems so akward to use compared to Football Manager so I will stick with that.
Im just getting into Smallville series 4 at the moment, me and my flatmate have been working through series 3 and on monday night we got onto series 4, the ending of series 3 is superb! Ive also been working my way through That 70s show series one, genius that programme!
I think my dvds to watch pile will be down to one or two after i finish that, aye, Lee Evans XL and Vulgars all thats left woohoo...then i will just HAVE to buy more lol.
Tomorrow should be good, Willie gets back from Australia so no doubt we will be doing something, Suz told Loz I would be going out for dinner with them so I might meet up with them early on and then go and meet up with willie and that!
OOOOOH....Clutch in less than a week, cant wait!!
Suz seems to have abandonded her Journal already lol, i keep getting on at her to update it, to no avail. |
